If you can wait for a couple of weeks/months for the new, 2011, 10 inch tablets to get out on the market then wait; however if you choose the new tablets you will be paying higher prices for roughly the same hardware.
The G-tablet matches the Motorola Xoom spec for spec minus two things: 1) the Xoom has a rear facing 5.0 megapixel camera and 2) it has 1GB RAM. The G-table has only one, forward facing, 1.3 MP camera and 512MB of RAM; while this is still ahead of tabs like the "Archos 101" and "iPad" (which have just 256MB of RAM) the Xoom still is better.
However this is completely blown away by the price tag. It is about $100 less then the iPad and half the price of the Xoom ($799).
I love my G-tablet. It is powerful and you have the option of loading cool Android roms to replace the stock UI. I, personally, use a rom called "Vegan-tab" [...] and I love it. If you want to pay a much higher price for: a slightly better 10inch tablet like the Xoom or a weaker (but apple compatible) tablet like the iPad. Go ahead, but I wouldn’t.
