Reviews for VIZIO VBR120 Blu-ray Player with Internet Apps (Electronics) after studying the overviews i still determined to purchase this bluray player. I LOVE IT. as for the dangerous overviews, i dont believe some folks have ever used the bluray technology prior to.. I had a sony for 3 12 monthss, the weight time on this unit is MUCH quicker than my first era sony.. Is it slow? kind of, but its widespread with bluray players.
as for the people who said internet apps dont work, i feel they will have to test their connection.. this participant does not have wifi, but if plugged into your home router, and if your web is fast sufficient, it appears to work nice! i use it nightly for netlflix.
Remember with bluray gamers, every time it wont play a disc UPDATE it.. I cant stress that enough! previous players, you presumably can update daily it felt like.. this one i’ve never ran into a problem updates wont restore.
the simplest problem i had with this unit used to be the glue like mentioned prior to.. however as an alternative of spending hours to get it off, purchase some goo long past.. glue was off in under 5 minutes!!!!
overall i’d counsel this if you are in search of a budget player. it doesn’t have all of the bells and whistles of a dearer participant (quick start, wifi, and so forth) however for the related fee it works and is far faster than first generation avid gamers. my longest wait with this unit was underneath 1 min.. my previous sony took 15 mins from time to time to load and YES thats in style with previous avid gamers

I actually have it connected to my Insignia 42″ 1080p 120Hz LCD by the use of HDMI. The TV runs the sound by the use of optical cable again to an outdateder Yamaha 5.1 channel receiver hooked to a pair of Martin Logan SL3′s and Cinema center channel.
I’m on a restricted price range for our leisure device (except the speakers! I’ve had them a whereas) so whereas looking for a blu-ray I did not want numerous additionals this sort ofs wi-fi, etc, but something that may upscale my previous DVD’s and of course play blu-ray’s reliably.
First, the player seems to be great. It is far smaller than other player’s I’ve seen. It appears to be like dearer that it is. One minor annoyance – for some reason the manufacturing facility put a long strip of cardboardy type merchandising along the highest of the player. Not an immense deal. But, it was placed on with double stick tape that used to be VERY exhausting to get off.
